West End run of Kinky Boots to extend
The new West End musical production of Kinky Boots will now run until 28 May 2016.
Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein's show arrived in London in August this year and impressed the critics, with WhatsOnStage's Michael Coveney calling it a "glorious feel-good musical".
The show is an adaptation of the British film of the same name which follows a Northampton shoemaker who re-invents his business by creating shoes for drag queens.
Kinky Boots has also been shortlisted for the BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical. The winner will be announced on 22 November.
Tickets for the extended period will go on sale on 19 October.
