Cressida Bonas stars in one-woman play about Lucian Freud

Cressida Bonas will star in one-woman play An Evening With Lucian Freud at the Leicester Square Theatre next month.

Bonas, an actress who made headlines when she dated Prince Harry, will be joined via a series of video
cameos by figures including Maureen Lipman, Russell Grant, news reader Alastair Stewart and the play's author Laura-­Jane Foley.

Directed by Ella Marchment and designed by Lily German, the play is billed as an a reflection on "how artists, and writers, must use people to make their art".

Bonas, whose stage acting credits include There's a Monster in the Lake and The Importance of Being Earnest, plays a PhD student recounting an evening with celebrated artist Lucian Freud.

An Evening With Lucian Freud runs at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge from 19 May to 6 June 2015.
