The full cast has been announced for Martin Crimp's The Treatment, which opens at the Almeida in April.

Game of Thrones star Indira Varma and West End leading man Julian Ovenden join the previously announced Aisling Loftus and Matthew Needham. The cast is completed by Gary Beadle, Ian Gelder, Ben Onwukwe, Ellora Torchia and Hara Yannas.

Ovenden's recent stage credits include My Night With Reg, Show Boat and Sunday in the Park with George. Varma's recent theatre work includes Man and Superman at the Old Vic and Titus Andronicus at Shakespeare's Globe.

Receiving its first London revival in 24 years, Crimp's contemporary satire is set in a film studio in New York and centres around a young woman with a story to tell.

It is directed by Lyndsey Turner who returns to the Almeida following her award-winning production of Chimerica. Choreography is by Arthur Pitt, design by Giles Cadle, and composition by Rupert Cross.

The Treatment runs at the Almeida Theatre from 28 April to 10 June, with previews from 24 April.
