Casting has been announced for Michael Fentiman's production of Loot, which opens at the Park Theatre in August.

Calvin Demba (Routes, Royal Court) and Sam Frenchum (Holby City) will play Hal (Frenchum) and Dennis (Demba) who stash money from a bank robbery in an unoccupied coffin, drawing the attentions of a psychopathic policeman, a gold-digging nurse and a grieving widower.

Joe Orton's play will also feature Sinéad Matthews, who was recently seen in Ivo van Hove's production of Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre.

Following its run at the Park Theatre, the production will transfer to The Watermill Theatre in Newbury from 28 September.

It has designs by Gabriella Slade with lighting by Elliot Griggs and sound design by Max Pappenheim.

Further casting is to be announced.

Loot will run at the Park Theatre from 23 August to 24 September (previews from 17 August), before transferring to The Watermill Theatre, Newbury from 28 September.
