Full casting has been announced for a new version of Ibsen's The Lady from the Sea, which opens at the Donmar Warehouse in October.

Elinor Cook's adaptation will be directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, who returns following his hit staging of One Night In Miami.

The previously announced Nikki Amuka-Bird (God Bless The Child, Royal Court), will be joined by Ellie Bamber (High Society, Old Vic), Jake Fairbrother (Hamlet, National Theatre), Jim Findley (Watership Down, Lyric Hammersmith), Jonny Holden (Blood Stained Tree, Young Vic), Finbar Lynch (Richard III, Almeida Theatre), Tom McKay (Frost/Nixon, Donmar Warehouse) and Helena Wilson (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Old Vic).

BAFTA and Ian Charleson Award-winner Amuka-Bird plays Ellida, a lighthouse-keeper's daughter, who is trapped in her marriage and longs for the sea.

The production will have design by Tom Scutt, lighting by Lee Curran, sound by Emma Laxton and is composed by Michael Bruce.

The Lady from the Sea runs from 18 October to 2 December, with previews from 12 October.
