Full casting has been announced for Florian Zeller's The Father which returns to the West End following successful runs at Theatre Royal Bath, the Tricycle Theatre and Wyndham's Theatre last year.

Kenneth Cranham reprises his role as Andre alongside Amanda Drew (Three Days in the Country, Enron, Broadchurch) as Anne, Rebecca Charles (Les Liaisons Dangereuses), Brian Doherty (Call the Midwife), Daniel Flynn (Stephen Ward) and Jade Williams (Young Chekhov Trilogy).

James Macdonald's acclaimed production, which originated at the Theatre Royal, Bath, played a West End season at Wyndham's Theatre last year and will run at the Duke of York’s Theatre from 24 February – 26 March 2016, prior to a national tour.

Florian Zeller's award-winning black comedy centres on an ageing man with an unreliable memory and his relationship with his daughter and son-in-law. The return of The Father will mark his second play to be running in London in February, with The Mother currently running at the Tricycle Theatre.
