Cast announced for Carrie musical

Casting has been announced for the upcoming musical Carrie at the Southwark Playhouse.

Evelyn Hoskins (Spring Awakening, This Is My Family, Casualty) will play the title role, with Broadway star Kim Criswell as mother.

The rest of the cast includes Greg Miller Burns, Olly Dobson, David Habbin, Jodie Jacobs, Dex Lee, Bobbie Little, Emily McCougan, Molly McGuire, Sarah McNicholas, Eddie Myles, Patrick Sullivan and Gabriella Williams.

A revised version of the original musical, which was produced by the RSC in 1988, Carrie is directed by Gary Lloyd and it runs from 1-30 May 2015.

Telling the story of an American schoolgirl with hyperkinetic powers who gets back at all those who tormented her, Carrie is produced by Paul Taylor Mills Ltd.
