Full casting has been announced for the forthcoming West End screen-to-stage musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Samantha Bond will play glamorous divorcee Muriel Eubanks, opposite WhatsOnStage Awards host Rufus Hound, Robert Lindsay and Katherine Kingsley in the principal cast.

John Marquez, recently seen alongside Hound in Neville’s Island at Chichester, will play chief of police Andre Thibault.

The cast is completed by Lizzy Connolly as Jolene, Gavin Alex, Darren Bennett, Niamh Bracken, Lisa Bridge, Darren Carnall, Andy Conaghan, Phoebe Coupe, Claire Doyle, Alice Fearn, Selina Hamilton, Ian Knauer, Lisa Mathieson, Zak Nemorin, Genevieve Nicole, Javier Santos, Todd Talbot, Dominic Tribuzio, Jon Tsouras and Zara Warren.

Samantha Bond, famed for playing Miss Moneypenny opposite Pierce Brosnan’s James Bond, has most recently been seen on television as Lady Rosamund, the daughter of Lady Grantham (Maggie Smith) on ITV’s Downton Abbey. She recently appeared in the West End in The Passion Play opposite Zoe Wanamaker, Owen Teale and Oliver Cotton.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will run in Manchester (12-22 February) at the Opera House and Aylesbury (26 February-1 March) at the Waterside Theatre before playing the West End's Savoy Theatre from 10 March to 29 November 2014.

The production is helmed by Broadway director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell, whose credits include Legally Blonde the Musical, Love Never Dies and Kinky Boots.

Mitchell choreographed the original production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which has music and lyrics by David Yazbek and a book by Jeffrey Lane, on Broadway in 2005.

It is based on the 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, and tells the story of two conmen competing to swindle money from an American heiress.
