Flamenco Festival Performers Finalised

The line-up for the Sadler’s Wells seventh Flamenco Festival has been finalised, with Eva Yerbabuena, Nuevo Ballet Español and Rafaela Carrasc appearing in the two-week season.

The annual event opens with the UK premiere of Cambio de Tercio from the award-winning Rojas and Rodríguez of Nuevo Ballet Español. Eva Yerbabuena returns to Sadler’s Wells with her new work Lluvia, and the Seville-born dancer Rafaela Carrasco performs the UK premiere of Vamos Al Tiroteo which is set to popular Spanish songs. The modernising flamenco dancer María Pagés performs a small-scale new work Autorretrato and the festival concludes with the Gala Flamenca which includes a strong cast of new flamenco dancers.
