X Factor musical I Can't Sing! offers public the chance to appear

Members of the public will make up the queue for auditions as part of the “spectacular set” in Sean Foley’s production, which opens at the London Palladium in March 2014

Have you ever dreamt of appearing on a West End stage? Well now you can, sort of.

Es Devlin and Sean Foley, the designer and director of I Can't Sing! The X Factor Musical are looking for members of the public to appear in the I Can't Sing! Hopefuls Line Up, a set of photographs that will make up the X Factor queue in a "pivotal scene" of the show.

250 people will be selected by Devlin and Foley for the line up, which will feature in the scene where Chenice, the story's heroine, stumbles upon the queue of people waiting to audition.

London based photographer Seamus Ryan will take pictures of 500 people, which will be whittled down to 250 who will appear in the show. To be in with a chance you can sign up here. The photo shoot is taking place on 9 November at the London Palladium.

I Can't Sing! The X Factor Musical is written by comedian Harry Hill and Steve Brown, and stars Cynthia Erivo, Nigel Harman and Alan Morrissey. It opens at the London Palladium on 26 March 2014 (previews from 27 February).
