First look at David Bedella as Sweeney Todd

Photos have been released of the actor and his costar Sarah Ingram as Mrs Lovett in the production at the new Twickenham Theatre

First look photos have been released as Sweeney Todd comes to the Twickenham Theatre. In the title role is multi-award winning actor David Bedella and starring opposite him as Mrs Lovett is Sarah Ingram.

The cast also includes Mark McKerracher (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) as Judge Turpin and Zoe Curlett (also Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) as the beggar woman. Alongside them, the cast will also include Shaun Chambers (Pirelli), Genevieve Kingsford (who makes her professional début as Johanna), Mikaela Newton (Tobias) and Josh Tevendale (Anthony).

Directed by Derek Anderson, the musical horror comedy will open on 10 September and run until 4 October and is the first in-house production to be performed at the theatre.
