'West Enders' run for charity, while Wicked stars stage night for Debra

Performers, stage managers and technicians representing a range of West End shows are pulling together to take part in a 10k run for charity on 27 October 2013 in Richmond Park.

They will be running in memory of a "much loved colleague and friend" to promote awareness for Neuroendocrine Cancer (Net's) and raise money for the Net Patient Foundation – the only charity in the UK & Ireland that supports patients and families living with Net's.

Runners include representatives from shows including Stephen Ward, The Bodyguard, Billy Elliot, Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The cast of Wicked are using their night off on Sunday 6 October to stage a special gala in aid of Debra.

Debra is an organisation that provides care and support to children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare condition that renders the skin extremely fragile.

According to press material: "Come and be thrillified by this talented company as they step out of Oz and into the St James Theatre for one night only."

VIP tickets – including premium seats, signed art work and access to the cast bar – cost £30.00, with others available at £27.50 and £22.50.
