Louise Dearman, currently playing Elphaba in Wicked, is set to bring a Christmas concert to the St James Theatre this December.

The show, entitled “The Perfect Year” will run at the theatre on 16 and 17 December 2013 and will include songs from Dearman’s “theatrical past, present and future” as well as some Christmas classics.

Dearman said: “I’ve had an incredible year and I want to finish 2013 with a bang! My show is a thank you to my wonderful fans and will contain songs from my theatrical past as well as album material and a few hints at what will be coming up in 2014!”

Last year Dearman became the only actress ever to have played both Elphaba and Glinda in Wicked. She is set to leave the show on 16 November, and is currently writing a book with Mark Evans called Secrets of Stage Success.

Her previous credits include Evita, Cats, Guys and Dolls, Jekyll and Hyde and Grease.
