ENB Principal Organises Charity Gala

English National Ballet Principal Begona Cao is staging a charity gala on 15 September at the Bloomsbury Theatre in aid of two London children’s charities: Down’s South London and Small Steps School for Parents.

The gala will feature a mixed bill of classical and modern pieces danced by Principals and Soloists from English National Ballet. Dancers scheduled to appear include Fernanda Olivera, Yat Sen Chang and Erina Takahashi. Pupils from the West London School of Dance will also appear.

All dancers are donating their time for the event which aims to raise £16,000 for the two charities. Based in south London, Downs South London provides speech and language therapy for children with Downs Syndrome. Small Steps School for Parents is based in Putney and is a support group for babies and young children who have cerebral palsy or similar forms of motor and sensory impairment.
