Molly Wobbly’s Tit Factory comes to Hackney Empire in September

Paul Boyd’s musical will run from 22 September – 5 October (previews from 20 September) at the Hackney Empire, starring Gary Wilmot and Sophie-Louise Dann

The London premiere of Paul Boyd’s musical Molly Wobbly’s Tit Factory will run at Hackney Empire from 22 September to 5 October 2013 (previews from 20 September).

The show, which is also directed by Boyd, will star Gary Wilmot as Malcolm, Sophie-Louise Dann as Margaret and David Hunter as Kitten.

Gary Wilmot’s theatre credits include The Invisible Man, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Chicago. Sophie-Louise Dann has recently been seen in Gay’s the Word, and her other credits include Cinderella and Sunday in the Park with George. David Hunter was a semi-finalist on Superstar, and his other credits include Seussical and The Hired Man.

They are joined in the cast by Shona White, Conleth Kane, Stephanie Fearon, Christopher Finn and Russell Morton.

The production, which ran at the Lyric Theatre Belfast and Edinburgh Fringe in 2012, sees the town of Little Happening get an unexpected make-over when a devious and creepy stranger arrives on Mammary Lane promising personal improvement to three unhappy women.

Featuring 22 songs including “Off My Chest”, “Molly Wobbly” and “One Night Stand”, Molly Wobbly’s Tit Factory has design Diego Pitarch, choreography by Sarah Johnston, lighting by John Riddell and musical direction by Matthew Reeve.
