Follow the coverage from our post-show Q&A at our WOS Outing to Graham Linehan’s WhatsOnStage award-winning comedy The Ladykillers at the Vaudeville Theatre

Tonight (11 July 2013) we’re taking almost 100 theatregoers to see Graham Linehan’s WhatsOnStage award-winning comedy The Ladykillers at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Based on the Ealing Comedy, The Ladykillers tells the classic black comedy tale of a sweet little old lady, alone in her house, pitted against a gang of criminal misfits who will stop at nothing….

Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the lopsided house of sweet and eccentric Mrs Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her unwittingly in Marcus’ brilliantly conceived heist job. The police are left stumped but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, to help her, Mrs W. is alone with five desperate men. But who will be forced to face the music?

The cast includes familiar TV comic actors Ralf Little as Harry, Simon Day as Major Courtney and Angela Thorne as Mrs Wilberforce alongside Olivier Award winners John Gordon Sinclair as Professor Marcus and Con O’Neill as Louis.

After the performance we will be joined for a post-show Q&A with cast members. Follow the Twitter coverage in the box below.
