A one-woman staging of Michael Morpurgo's I Believe in Unicorns is transferring to the West End in August following its recent national tour.
Produced by Wizard Presents and directed by Dani Parr, the production was first seen at last year's Edinburgh Fringe.
Starring storyteller Danyah Miller, it's set in a library full of books which contain more than stories within their pages.
According to press material, "It is a tale of the power of books and the bravery of a young boy called Tomas. He loves playing in the mountains and hates reading and school but his world is turned upside down the day he meets the Unicorn and the Unicorn Lady in his local library."
An interactive show, I Believe in Unicorns is suitable for everyone over 5 years old. It runs at the Vaudeville Theatre from the 8 to 31 August 2014.
Morpurgo, whose books including War Horse and Private Peaceful have been staged in the West End, said: "It is wonderful that a magic unicorn is coming to town, a unicorn like no other. A horse, like War Horse is one thing - also like no other - but a unicorn? No one will believe it until they see it, but a unicorn, once seen, like the horse, like Joey, is always believed."
