Now seen by over three million people worldwide, War Horse tells the story of Albert and his beloved horse, who, at the outbreak of World War One, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France.

It's directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, designed by Rae Smith, with puppet direction, design and fabrication by Basil Jones and Adrian Kohler for Handspring Puppet Company, lighting by Paule Constable, and movement and horse choreography by Toby Sedgwick.

The show, which is adapted from Michael Morpurgo's novel, premiered at the NT Olivier in October 2007, returning for a second run the following year and transferring to the West End's New London theatre in April 2009.
