Final West End Eurovision raises more than 66k for MAD Trust
The final West End Eurovision has raised more than £66,000 for The Make A Difference Trust, enabling them to continue to expand their support network to those living with, and affected by, HIV.
The show, which was held last Thursday at the Dominion Theatre, saw joint victors in Mamma Mia! and Les Miserables, who won with their performances of "Waterloo" and "Flying the Flag (For You)" respectively.
Celebrating its seventh and final year, this year's West End Eurovision featured nine shows performing to take the crown, plus a special performance from We Will Rock You to kick off the show.
The night was judged by Graham Norton, Caroline Quentin, Rylan Clark and Lesley Joseph, and also saw Eurovision star Sonia performing some of her best known songs. It also featured speeches from actresses Harriet Thorpe and Charlie Hardwick and director Andrew Keates about the work of The MAD Trust.
Mamma Mia! also won the Best Creative Award for their West End mash up, and Best Ident (which you can watch below) went to The Book of Mormon.
