Eric and Little Ern returns to London
Morecambe and Wise tribute show Eric and Little Ern will return to London this Christmas for a limited season at the St James Theatre.
Running from 16 December 2014 to 11 January 2015, the show stars Jonty Stephens and Ian Ashpitel as the much-loved comedy duo.
Eric and Little Ern recreates some of the best-known moments from a vast archive of Eric and Ernie television and stage performances.
The show's producers were granted rare permission by Eddie Braben, Morecambe and Wise's long-time collaborator, to feature favourite moments from his writing, just weeks before his death in May last year.
Together with classic material licensed from the estate of Hills and Green, who wrote for the duo early in their career, the show mixes in new scenes exploring the public and private personas of the comedians.
The show is returning to London following a run at the Vaudeville Theatre last year. Directed by Owen Lewis, it premiered at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe.
