Arthur Darvill begins his run as "Guy" in Once

Replacing Declan Bennett who has left the show to begin filming Eastenders, Darvill reprises the role he recently played on Broadway.

Perhaps best known for his appearances in Doctor Who, Darvill was last seen on the London stage in the WhatsOnStage Award nominated play Our Boys in 2012.

Blithe Spirit opens

Obviously the chance to see the great Angela Lansbury on stage is reason enough to get your tickets for this production, but with a smashing cast overall including Jemima Rooper, Charles Edwards and Janie Dee, this really is a must see.

Two into One opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory

Michael Praed and Josefina Gabrielle star as a philandering MP and his long-suffering spouse in Ray Cooney's revival of his own comedy Two into One at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Cooney himself also appears in the production which runs until 26 April 2014.

A Study in Scarlet opens at Southwark Playhouse

Tacit Theatre return to Southwark Playhouse with a brand new adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective classic. Featuring an original score, live music, immersive design and an ensemble cast of actor-musicians, it follows up on their two sold-out runs of The Canterbury Tales at Southwark Playhouse.

The Merchant of Venice at Shoreditch Church

Following on from their last production of Titus Andronicus, Malachite Theatre present a new site-specfic production of The Merchant of Venice set in Shoreditch Church, burial place of Shakespearean actor Richard Burbage.
