RSC's Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies follow Stephen Ward at Aldwych?

The Royal Shakespeare Company could be set to return to its former London base the Aldwych Theatre later this year if recent rumours are to be believed.
The RSC's recent adaptation of Hilary Mantel's Booker Prize-winning historical novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies.
As previously reported, the company has been on the look out for a London home for the productions.
And now, following the announcement of the closure of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Stephen Ward on 29 March, the ideal home appears to have come available.
The RSC has history with the Aldwych, having used the venue as its London home in the 1960s, 70s and early 80s. Productions staged during that time included The Wars of the Roses and Nicholas Nickleby.
And the timing certainly works, seeing as Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, which are adapted by Mike Poulton and directed by Jeremy Herrin, finish in Stratford on the same day that Stephen Ward closes.
The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye tweeted that the transfers, which haven't yet been confirmed by the RSC, would be a "coup" for the Aldwych.
