Rocky Horror Show actor Christopher Malcolm Dies aged 67

Shortly after his most recent production, the acclaimed anniversary revival of Oh What a Lovely War, opened at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, actor and producer Christopher Malcolm has died of cancer at the age of 67.
Malcolm’s death was confirmed on Twitter by his daughter, playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, who said:
"Today the world lost a beautiful, brilliant man. My dad Christopher Malcolm left peacefully and with dignity. He will always be my hero."
As an actor Malcolm first became popular for his original role on stage as Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show at the Royal Court Theatre in 1973.
The musical’s success in London and on Broadway led to its film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, in 1975. Later on Malcolm also helped produce a revival of The Rocky Horror Show at the West End's Picadilly Theatre in 1990.
On screen the Scottish actor was best known for his role in Absolutely Fabulous, where he played Justin, the gay father of Saffy. The also appeared onscreen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Labyrinth.
Malcolm is survived by his wife, actress Judy Lloyd, and three children and grandchildren.
