So Tristan, what is your favourite.....
Depends on the mood. If I wanted to laugh, Withnail & I, to cry then It's A Wonderful Life or to be taken somewhere else entirely and escape, then 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Place to hangout in London?
I love the parks and open spaces of London, the Japanese garden in Holland Park, the Chelsea Physic Gardens etc. But I also love the little private members clubs that make you feel special, like Two Brydges and the Ivy Club. So two answers again I'm afraid.
The Gumstool Inn in Gloucestershire, their roast beef is to die for.
Time of year?
I'm a summer person. Grew up in Australia, so the hotter the better for me.
Don't have a favourite. There is so much good stuff out there and London is the best city in the world to see it.
Wyndham's on Charing Cross Rd. It was the first West End theatre that I performed in and still, I think, the most beautiful.
Scene in The Bodyguard
I love the karaoke scene. It's a break in the frenetic action and the one time in the show when the main characters have time to breathe a little as they get to know each other. It's fun to play and it is also the scene where the world finds out my true place in the musical pantheon.
I admire many actors, too many to list here but you always want to work with the best people you can and every day I am able to do that I am grateful.
Based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Oscar nominated Warner Bros. film, Thea Sharrock's production of The Bodyguard has recently announced the release of over 300,000 tickets for sale, taking booking at the Adelphi Theatre to 30 August 2014.
