Daniel Radcliffe returns to Broadway in The Cripple of Inishmaan

Award-winner Martin McDonagh’s play becomes the first from the highly acclaimed Michael Grandage Company season to transfer across the pond

A Broadway transfer of the Michael Grandage Company production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, starring Daniel Radcliffe has been announced.

The production, which opens at the Cort Theatre on 20 April, marks the Broadway premiere for the play and the first Broadway transfer from the WhatsOnStage Award nominated season of five plays produced by the Michael Grandage Company at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Producer Arielle Tepper Madover has previously worked with Michael Grandage and James Bierman, on the Broadway transfers of Donmar Warehouse productions including Frost/Nixon, Mary Stuart, Hamlet and Red.

In addition to Radcliffe, the production of Martin McDonagh’s play will feature Ingrid Craigie (Kate Osborne), Pádraic Delaney (Babbybobby), Sarah Greene (Helen McCormick), Gillian Hanna (Eileen Osborne), Gary Lilburn (Doctor), Conor MacNeill (Bartley McCormick), Pat Shortt (Johnnypateenmike) and June Watson (Mammy).
