Full casting has been announced for A Streetcar Named Desire, Nikolai Foster's inaugural production as artistic director of the Leicester Curve.

Joining the previously announced Charlie Brooks as Blanche and Stewart Clarke as Stanley will be Dakota Blue Richards (Arcadia, The Golden Compass) as Stella, Sandy Foster (Oppenheimer) as Eunice and Patrick Knowles (Saturday Night Sunday Morning) as Mitch.

Natasha Magigi (To Kill a Mockingbird) as Nurse/African American Woman, Mark Peachey (Richard III) as Steve, Nick Read (The Tempest) as Young Collector/Doctor and Juan Pablo Yepez (Death of a Salesman) as Pablo will complete the cast.

Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning drama has been called one of the most influential plays of the twentieth century and explores the beauty, fragility and loneliness of the human experience.

A Streetcar Named Desire is designed by Michael Taylor with lighting by Guy Hoare and composition by David Shrubsole.

The production runs at the Leicester Curve from 20 October to 8 November.
