Follow Owl and Pussycat as they set out on the high seas with only some honey, money and a runcible spoon to help them find their way through a topsy turvey world! Along the way they meet the piggy wig, the turkey who lives on the hill and the strangest looking tree you'll ever see!
The Owl and the Pussycat are surprised when a storm sweeps them out the window, SPLASH! On to an unexpected voyage to a curious land. A joyful journey for energetic little explorers aged 3 -7 and their grownups using puppets and live music, Kitchen Zoo brings to life an unexpected telling of Edward Lear's The Owl and the Pussycat. Developed in partnership with ARC and The Witham.
When being different brings the most wonderful of surprises... Roy and Silo are two male Chinstrap penguins. Just like the other penguin pairs at Central Park Zoo, they walk, play, swim and dance together. When the duo decide to try and hatch a rock in place of an egg, they find themselves on an adventure that could mean raising a chick for real! Penguins is a unique and engaging show for children about friendship, fun, identity and the ever-changing meaning of family.
This delightful new theatre and dance production is inspired by a true story reported in the New York Times that touched hearts worldwide. The creative team includes award-winning children's director Paul Bosco Mc Eneaney and international choreographer Carlos Pons Guerra.
Country bumpkin D'Artagnan comes to the big city with a big dream: to become a Musketeer. But when he accidentally becomes embroiled in the sinister schemes of Cardinal Richelieu, it doesn't seem likely he'll survive long enough. Especially as this would-be Musketeer is hiding a huge secret: "he" is really a "she"... Take a swashbuckling adventure through beautiful Williamson Park this summer, as D'Artagnan teams up with the legendary Three Musketeers, Porthos, Athos and Aramis, in a death-defying quest to save the life of a loving Queen. Inventive stagecraft, witty dialogue and energetic swordplay will bring Alexandre Dumas' classic novel to life in a brand new adaptation with a thoroughly modern twist. Thrill as D'Artagnan takes on three duels at once! Gasp as Milady weaves her evil intrigues! Cheer as the Musketeers save the day at the last possible moment (we hope!)
