WOS Radio: Glyndebourne 2009 in the SpotlightDate: 19 June 2009
This year is the 75th anniversary season at Glyndebourne. Here, journalist and broadcaster Edward Seckerson discusses two of the key productions at this year's festival.
First up, he interviews conductor Vladimir Jurowski and Christopher Purves who plays the larger-than-life protagonist in Glyndebourne's new production of Falstaff, which runs for 13 performances between 21 May and 11 July.
And here, he speaks to Sarah Connolly, Danielle de Niese and conductor Laurence Cummings about Glyndebourne's 2009 Festival revival production of Handel's Giulio Cesare, which runs for 13 performances between 22 May and 3 July.

Writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson is chief classical music and opera critic for the Independent.
