WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
An international celebration of dance, dancers and dance teachers. Hundreds of young dancers from all over the world will perform an original piece of choreography on the stage of one of the world's most iconic and prestigious venues. More than 450 young dancers took to the Hall's stage last year and we hope that Dance Proms 2013 will be bigger and better than ever! Patrons for 2013 include: Darcey Bussell CBE, Matt Flint, Len Goodman, Chris Hollins, Arlene Phillips CBE, Bonnie Langford, Angela Rippon OBE, Lisa Riley and Shabba Doo. "It's so important that young talent has a chance to see what other talented people are doing at this national event. For a student, performing at the Royal Albert Hall is out of this world. They learn so much it will affect them for the rest of their lives." Darcey Bussell CBE, Dance Proms Patron. With guest acts and a huge range of dance styles, this is the perfect event for all dance-lovers with something for everyone at this gala performance!
