Showstopper! The Improvised Musical celebrated 1000 shows last night with a gala performance at The Other Palace.

The show is currently running at the venue and yesterday marked the 1000th show the company has performed since it was first founded.

Stars including Hannah Waddingham, Tom Conti and Sue Holderness joined the company to celebrate the milestone.

The musical changes each night based on suggestions from the audience. Showstopper! has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as well as the Apollo Theatre in the West End. It became the first improv show to win an Olivier Award.

Showstopper! continues at the Other Palace until 16 March as well as performing at the Lyric Theatre on select days until September.

Bratt, Justin Brett, Matt Cavendish, Dylan Emery (co-creator/director), Pippa Evans, Susan Harrison,
Joshua C. Jackson, Ali James, Sean McCann, Adam Meggido (co-creator/director), Philip Pellew,
Andrew Pugsley, Lauren Shearing, Lucy Trodd, Heather Urquhart and Sarah-Louise Young.
