Production images have been released for Macbeth in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare's Globe, which stars real-life wife-husband pair Michelle Terry (the venue's artistic director) and Paul Ready (Bodyguard) as the tragic and conniving pair.

Directed by Sheffield Theatres' artistic director Robert Hastie, the revival of Shakespeare's tragedy also features Catrin Aaron (Lennox), Philip Cumbus (Banquo), Marc Elliott (Ross), Joseph Marcell (Duncan and Porter), Anna-Maria Nabirye (Macduff), Kirsty Rider (Lady Macduff), Philippine Velge (Donalbain) and Kit Young (Malcolm).

It has fight direction by Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper-Brown of Rc-Annie Ltd, design by Peter McKintosh, composition by Laura Moody and costume supervision by Laura Rushton.

The show opens Terry's first winter season at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, following her first summer season earlier this year. It runs in rep until 2 February.
