brilliant show, can't agree with some of these comments.Thought there was plenty of story, and let's be honest her story has been well documented, so unless you've been living on a different planet it shouldn't be too difficult to fill in any gaps you that may have bothered you.Emi Wokoma is worth 5 stars on her own,not too mention the superb stage presence of Chris Tummings as Ike. - Phil

Of Dear... I was looking forward to this show, but what a mess, poor acting & terrible staging no money spent on this production...The 2 stars are for Emi Wokoma who was great & the cast & band did try... If I had paid £20 to watch her do a tribute I would have been happy but £40 (discounted from £60) was still far too much money. If you going to put a show in the West End & charge West End prices at least spend some money on the production, this was a cheap touring show at best... - Tim

An absolutely fantastic Tina, dancers and musicians but average Ike. A great night unfortunately spoiled by the strong blinding spotlights on the audience. - Bill Bryce

'Tina' was amazing.....'Ike' was awful - wooden acting and week vocals! Music was great but I was expecting so much more depth to the story. If the producers just wanted to showcase the music they should have given up the idea of a 'true story' and written a completely new musical in the same form as 'Mamma Mia' or 'We will Rock You'. - Veronica

Had a really enjoyable evening - talented energetic cast, but found the show ultimately like a tribute concert with little background information - Jean Anderson

Michael, I was there last night and came away with the exact same thoughts as you. I was slightly disappointed in the fact that I didn't learn anything about the back story between Ike and Tina. I would have preferred to maybe have less music and more story after all it is a show that is supposed to portray the Life & Times of Ike and Tina Turner, well that's what the programme says. - abs2222
