starstarstarstarThis is literally the cheapest most horrific am-dram production-value show. That said, the cast are brilliant. Understanding Miss Langford couldn't really have the vocal gymnastics of Miss Waddingham or Miss Ramirez is a massive strength. they play to hers and actually, it makes it better. Mracus Brigstock's good (not quite the singer, however still very funny), the ensemble are amazing..... but the thing is SOOOOOOOOO fucking cheap i had a huge difficultly getting over the price tag. It's like they're in a production to be filmed and sent to amateurs (with the set) so they can loveingly recreate it. I'm not sure where to place it (other than minus points for the TERRIBLE direction and set and use of space) but amazing performers who know what to do and how to make it work! (also the dialogue and song changes are really rather good) - Cassox09 Aug 12
starstarstarstarI had my trepidation at seeing this (not being a massive fan of Monty Python) however I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a light hearted evening where there was enough gags and ridiculously songs for everyone to enjoy. - Mel02 Aug 12
starstarstarstarSpamalot provided a pleasant uncomplicated evening at the theatre. This was a much smaller production than the original at the Palace Theatre but the Python material stood up pretty well. Gay Lancelot is now a weakness but this is pantomime and worked as such. - Simon01 Aug 12
