starstarstarstarstarI thoroughly enjoyed the matinee performance yesterday. The acting was excellent, choreography, especially in the 'weekend away' scene very clever ( and acrobatic!) Still thought provoking and very moving even after 30 years. Congratulations to ALL the cast for a memorable afternoon. - Ian Scott16 Jul 12
starstarstarstarstarA wonderful evenings entertainment. Not only massively topical in the light of the churches recent stance on same-sex marriage but a touching, powerful, elegantly directed and beautifully designed show. Fantastic ensemble acting too. Anyone who has ever felt on the fringes of society or has an overbearing mother should see this brilliant play. - Joan L02 Jul 12
starThe worse most out-dated show I have ever seen. David Bedella just spends 3 hours shouting and you feel nothing for any of the characters. - Adam C29 Jun 12
starstarstarOver-long in places, yet cut to pieces in others...The performances shone, however.... - Hannah Hall28 Jun 12
starstarstarstarstarA Great production, excellent Staging at the Menier & the cast where brilliant, well done to all, David Bedella performance fantastic... highly recommened - Tim25 Jun 12
starstarstarstarI really like this (if truth be known) a lot more that I expected that I would. Especially the staging. In particular the third of the three short plays and particularly liked both of the female leads, especially Sara Kestelman. - Anthony B23 Jun 12
starstarstarstarstara sensitive production of an interesting play.Superb performances all round - Graham Brown14 Jun 12
starstarstarstarIt's a long play, and somewhat meandering, but David Bedella's wonderful warm central human performance holds this together. Some of the issues may have dated, but the wit and affection for the characters makes this worthwhile. - steveatplays14 Jun 12
