starstarI've just come back from seeing this show and I have to say, it was the most dull, boring experience of my life. So boring I actually nodded off at one point only to wake up to find one guy sitting next to me that seemed to be enjoying the show a little bit too much, if you catch my drift. I'm fully aware of what burlesque is and that's why i was looking forward to it, but unfortunately I thought there would be some flow to the show but it was a mish mash of songs which didn't draw me in to wanting more. 2 people got up at the interval and left, but I thought I'd stay to see what the second half would bring, well I wish I left as well. The only enjoyable part of this show was the male singer (who sadly only had a few songs.) Thoroughly disappointed. a must see if you like sleazy pointless rubbish but if you want to see a proper west end show go and see 'wicked' which is fantastic, funny and completely breathtaking. - lauren25 Apr 11
starstarstarstarstarAbsolutely agree with the previous reviewer. It seems some people just don't understand the concept of "Burlesque" and complain... either about the lack of proper stripping or about the amount of bare flesh. Anderson's musical arrangements for this show are worth the entry price alone and Polly Rae shows that she is not just an accomplished Burlesque artist (as are all the Hurly Burly girls, without exception exceptional!) but also has a pretty good singing voice on her, something that is not usually seen (or should that be heard?) on the Burlesque stages. - Stefan Kaderzin06 Apr 11
starstarstarstarstarDon't read any of the bad reviews, these people don't appreciate they are coming to see a burlesque show where of course you are going to see nipple tassels and bare flesh, The girls are fantastic. Miss Polly Rae is superb, we could have watched the performance all over again. Book yourselves some tickets, highly entertaining, sexy show. - Susie Wood 05 Apr 11
