starstarHaving experienced 'It Felt like a Kiss' at Manchester International Festival I confess I was filled with expectation for this interactive performance. The write up really gears you for a scary and exciting experience but it disappointed on all levels. This could have been so much better. The dialogue was difficult to hear and hard to follow and half way through I was starting to feel detached from the performance. We were asked what blood group we were which was a nice touch at the start but then nothing came of it. I had expected us to get split up with our blood groups etc. As the comments made before, I was surprised and let down when leaving the of the room, half hoping something else would happen. The Vampires were pretty dismal and most of the audience were laughing by the end. I did like the use of tv screens and the last sequence was cool, they could have really made alot more use of that, more vampires peering in at us, more attacks on the outside, all would have added more interest for the audience. As it was we had packets of Burger King salt thrown at us. I wish Slung Low luck but with other production companies creating far more impressive and thought provoking Theatre they may want to up their game. - Jane D04 Sep 09
starstarA strange show.....the stage set up was very good and intriguing, however, the story, although easily understood, did not capture my imagination or grip any of my emotions which left me the feeling of being unsatisfied when leaving, also, the culmination of the plot lasted a few minutes and was barely visable from where the audience was forced to stand - Carl Meaney02 Sep 09
