starstarI think this scores as one of the worst theatrical experiences I have had in quite a while. Why did everyone have to shout and screech? Why did we have the eey by gum accents and why can't people learn their lines properly. I found the whole performance leaden, smacking of Brian Rix farce and one that left me wishing I had stayed at home. It was a disappointing event all round and one I would advise to steer clear of. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.93.50.14)18 Jun 03
starstarstarstarYour reviewer is being a little harsh, or perhaps he saw an indifferent performance. I thought ASFB was a terrific ensemble piece - the problem is that there is just too much plot! All credit to the West Yorkshire Playhouse for staging the work, and for building such a massive set... - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.92.168.169)18 Jun 03
