| Funny show. Made me laugh. And I was the parent. - 84.65.147.39) | 08 Dec 06 | |
| I agree. Such a treat for anyone of any age. I saw it with three kids and laughed as much as they did. It's rare to see something where the whole family can have equal amounts of fun (not just us adults enjoying the kids laughter, but not really the play itself, as usually happens). I thought it was fantastic. Congrats to the Library Theatre who always come up trumps. This is surely the one theatre in Manchester that always delivers, show after show, year after year. Even the Exchange (especially the Exchange?) is very hit and miss these days. Go go go. - 84.65.212.54) | 29 Nov 06 | |
| The Golden Goose written and directed by Charles Way is the Library Theatre's Christmas production for this year and by the look of last nights opening night they have another hit on their hands. The story is adapted from the Grimm Fairy tale of the same name but with many of Way's own additions. The production is a truly magical nights entertainment and the eight strong cast are all magificent with Stephen Finegold particularly brilliant as the Fairy King and he gives a fantastic turn as the mad Doctor Siebenstein. Paul Stocker is an engaging Dummling the hero of the play. A great night out. - 81.129.33.221) | 28 Nov 06 |
