| A very compelling aand funny piece. thought there were some real moments of brilliance on stage. Suzannah York still shines as a star and has some wonderful moments with Amanda Boxer as her daughter. I was very moved by the play and was held from start to finish. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (62.253.64.6) | 22 Mar 04 | |
| Amanda Boxer played the daugther, and she was excellent. Absolutely worth seeing, as is Susannah York. I didn't expect Tennessee Williams, and was not at all disappointed, but rather intrigued by the mother/daugther conflicts. It was very emotional. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.249.212.188) | 22 Mar 04 | |
| I also loved the music. Susannah York is alway worth seeing on stage. The daughter looked old enough to be SYs sister. I liked the play but didn't like the set. I was looking forward to seeing more of a Tennessee Williams type drama which it wasn't. The acting was good and the play was interesting but it had less depth than I expected. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.92.168.174) | 21 Mar 04 | |
