 | I was very disappointed last night after seeing Totem. I've seen 5 Cirque shows and have been a fan for years. However this one was a yawn. Music was a boring world flavor and the story had no continuity. It seems as though the production value has been lost and that their imagination is becoming dull. Too bad. | Loved it. Don't know why some people gave it bad reviews. I thought it could do without some of the acting parts like the scientist part, although the Italian guy was funny in his parts. I prefer the acrobatics. My favourite part was the duo trapese wich was amazing, I have watched parts of the trapese on youtube since seeing Totem. Would definately recommend this to anyone. | I've been to a couple of Cirque Du Soleil shows which were utterly magical and thought I'd treat my partner(a Cirque virgin) and my self to a Valentine's evening at Totem. I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed, rubbish plot and no unity between the acts/performers. I can tollerate mistakes but the show also lacked energy and magic. | went last night 12th feb 2012 albert hall.from the previous 2 shows,this totem was complete rubbish.boring.very circus like for kids.performers dropping things,falling off things,this was the most boring evening i have had at the albert hall.i love cirque but please this was terrible. - steve wood | 13 Feb 12 |
