| The most boring night I've ever spent in the theatre. For the love of god, how many times can you watch someone twirl round on a hoop? Occasional bursts of humour, surrounded by some acrobats - should be on at Blackpool Pier. Awful. - TP | 29 Jan 10 | |
| I've never seen C-de-C and now I know - 65lbs a seat...not worth it in quid, not worth it as an afternoon of my life..., since I'm all grown up and don't go to the circus anymore.. give me a break. Every act... i mean every act... way too long and boring... the jokes were simplistic. The acrobatics though impressive at first but were milked way way too long. it was just boring and I simply couldn't sit through the rest of the show and left at intermission. Honestly... grow up and lets use Royal Albert hall for a decent concert and not this nonsense. I will never go to C to C again. I can't honestly believe that this is what is considered entertainment at such an honored and important venue. What are we... all children! Congratulations on people being able to do flips and twirls... once you understand that many people can do this and it is "possible" to train for this.. big deal. I feel like an ape slack jawed looking at humans "doing tricks" ... something is very wrong with this type of "entertainment" kinda like looking at a freak show... but with people that have all their limbs.... Cirque de Sole --- NO thank you! - ujg | 28 Jan 10 | |
| Cirque du Soleil have expensive production values, expensive costumes and (very) expensive tickets, but ultimately it's just a circus with very clever marketing. Most of the acts are impressive at the time but the show is forgotten almost as soon as you have left the hall. - David Baxter | 10 Jan 10 |
