starstarstarstarThe first 5 minutes was a bit slow, but then you fund yourself getting carried away. This is a funny, intelligent musical, and the whole cast are amazing. - Debra Parker 21 May 13
starstarstarstarOne of our all time great Musicals and there is a load of talent in this cast but,for us they did not convey the pain and emotion especially of our favourite Sondheim song"Our Time";they were just the same folk as they were in the opening;by the way, where was the opening chorus?what was the child doing in the last scene ?why the tacky opening to the second act?It was mostly all too slick and the trio never struck me as ever being inseparable friends. So,DAMN GOOD(especially Josefina Gabrielle) but not the best! - midspair17 May 13
starstarstarstarstarRight up there with the best musicals of all time. Jenna Russell is heartbreakingly good - but then so are they all. This show should extend to an unlimited run so that everyone could see it. Despite its theatrical nature, I still think it could be filmed, but would require great intelligence and sensitivty. A profoundly pragmatic show, a song of both innocence and experience. Art imitating Life, as Aristotle said. - Lizzy15 May 13
starstarstarstarstarI also saw this fabulous production at the Menier, it really is not to be missed. A shame that it is only having a limited run in the West End, it deserves longer. A wonderful cast and direction by Maria Friedman. - John.07 May 13
starstarstarstarstarI was fortunate to see this at the Menier prior to its transfer. 'Merrily' ignited my love of Sondheim and this production should do the same for anyone else. The whole cast are simply wonderful. Everything about it oozes class, and makes for an emotional night at the theatre. I implore you to see this! - Mark03 May 13
starstarstarstarstarAn intelligent musical for theatre lovers tired of the Jukebox invasion. There are not enough superlatives for this production. - DS03 May 13
starstarstarstarstarYou may not have heard of it but definitely buy tickets. Moving, funny, stunning. A dream cast. Please don't miss it. - JT03 May 13
