| I went to see Infinite Variety last week after reading your review and I agree! So refreshing to see something so utterly different. I had no idea what to expect and instead of that disarming me, I decided to sit back and let it take me on a ride! I was moved, amused and turned on at times! There were bewilderingly beautiful moments, odd times but mostly thoroughly entertaining! As a well seasoned cabaret fan, I can't believe I've never seen Miss Cupcake before! She is a femme Iggy Pop, rock star goddess come aerialist come sex kitten! La John Joseph is hilariously dry in his delivery of self penned songs and Gemma Whelan brings a hint of the West End in with her triple threat of talents! I thoroughly recommend it for those who appreciate something a bit different. - Sarah Warden | 05 Oct 09 | |
| Polly Cupcake is stunning, sexy and musically thrilling. The show maintained its dynamic ascent throughout. Magnifently staged. Supported by a band with unique a sound surely influenced by Tom Watts. Highly recommended it deserves - Fred Stride | 27 Sep 09 |
