| I felt I was watching an succession of impressions. David Brent and Alison Steadman with a spitting Image Scotsman thrown in for good/bad measure. The dialogue was tedious and going nowhere. What is the point I kept thinking? Fortunately I was relieved of having to sit through the second act due to the indisposition of one of the cast members ..... perhaps they'd had enough of it too? The Bush well off form. - rds | 19 Feb 10 | |
| Bottle Universe is a great night out! There are moments of extreme tension and emotion, yet the dialogue is also hilariously witty and well observed. The troubled teen characters and their teacher are buoyantly played by the three actors, and by the end of the play have really endeared themselves to the audience - despite all their quirks and colourful language. The Bush itself is a wonderful, intimate and down to earth space, with a pub underneath! What more could you want? - 193.133.226.4) | 18 Oct 05 | |
