 | Saw this production on Saturday, so glad it was daylight when we came out. Great ambience;lighting and music really added to the whole claustrophobic atmosphere. With Annie Wilkes leaving the stage through the audience, made you feel trapped like Paul and you dreaded hearing the snow crunching feet returning. Best thing I've seen Susan Penhaligon do. | What a great show. I saw the first night (3rd) and was so impressed by this. Michael Praed is such a great actor - his presence and comedy is brilliant. Susan Penhaligon scared the bejesus out of me - really disturbing, haunting performance. I make Whatsonstage right - at least four stars - I'm giving it 5. | I can only say that it was FAR better than I could have ever expected. 11 our 10 to the guys at Popular productions for the casting, venue, marketing and effort they have obviously put into this, the audience is captured from start to finish and the whole performance outstanding...lets hope it makes a tour and possibly West end - it deserves to do VERY well. Top work guys, theatre is alive and well in London and long will it continue with fresh young producers sticking their necks out - AND I understand putting their own money into this and putting together great shows. Saw their last work also, 'I Love you - your perfect-now change', and so did the Madinat Dubai venues I understand, rumour has it they are set to take that market by storm next year also.
