LIFT (Soho Theatre, Inner London)

| I was disappointed by this show. All the performances were very strong with some exceptional vocals. However, the music was forgettable, the lyrics were at times clumsy and the book was just leaden. When I first heard about this musical I understood, wrongly as it turns out, that it took place in a lift where people were trapped and was about their varied responses to being in that situation. The lift, however, is tangential to the plot, such as it is, which is really a collection of disparate snippets of London life - and not very interesting London life at that. - C MacLeod | 17 Feb 13 | |
| I really enjoyed this - thought it was very different and well done. Saw a couple of the stars at West End Fests that same night! - Linda Wadkin | 04 Feb 13 |
