starstarstarAlthough overly sugary and clunsily written this little piece has a certain waspish charm. Seidelman's good-looking production's major asset is Billy Zane who brings presence and comic timing to his role: one longs to see him in a better play. Claire Bloom has her moments but is really suited to more substantial fare than this. Not a knockout, but not the disaster some critics would have us believe. - 89.145.233.212)20 Jan 07
starstarAgree completely with the WOS reviewer. Dreadful play. Billy Zane gives it his all. Ms Bloom looks lost and uncertain. - 172.143.182.25)10 Dec 06
starstarstarstarstarWho are you,mr reviewer,to judge so harshly? What have you done on stage?I have never even heard of you....Amazed by your bitchy review. The play is so so but the acting is wonderful. The audience loved it.Hope you are physically a perfect specimen, and not 'stubby'.God forbid one should have the opportuntiy to review you! - 213.41.177.127)06 Dec 06
starstarstarstarDid I see the same play as the critics? Yes it was sentimental - probably wouldn't appeal to aggressive males, but for me it was gentle charming well-acted and staged - a refreshing change- go and see it and make up your own mind! - 80.189.118.169)04 Dec 06
starOh dear not a good play at all. How much pain can a writer throw in for Act two of this very short play. The costume changes ruin every scene as we have long black outs. Billy Zane is great and he totally SAVED Miss Bloom the night I went, as sorry to say she looked totally lost...on stage, in her costumes and for sure was not on top of her lines. Very sad for such a great star. Give this one a miss, sorry to have to say. - 87.224.67.25)01 Dec 06
starstarstarstarstarHaving seen this charming piece tonight, I czn only assume that Mr Coven-ey must've been with a band of bitches when writing this review. Ay least Mrs Hymen wasn't busted!!! - 84.69.164.170)01 Dec 06
starThis is probably one of the most boring plays I have seen, badly acted directed and choreographed. I left at the interval. What a disappointment. - 212.158.244.234)30 Nov 06
starstarstarstarstarI really enjoyed this play when I saw it on Saturday, both Billy Zane and Clare Bloom were excellent in their roles and it had a nice mixture of emotions, laughter, sadness. I dont go and see many plays but this has encouraged me to go and see more. - 217.36.231.41)30 Nov 06
