| Absolutely brilliant - Kathy Tyson is wonderful - USER: Whatsonstage.com (212.125.84.246) | 21 Mar 03 | |
| Funny? Well, if just a mention of poo, nappies, sick, breast-feeding and sleepless-nights sends you into hysterics, then maybe. This is "The Vagina Monologues 2 - The Afterbirth": it's all broody hens and no cock. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (80.193.1.68) | 21 Mar 03 | |
| I laughed out loud from the word go and there was certainly lots of raucous laughter around me. There were also some lump-in-the-throat moments. I was glad to see the script didn't go in for 'men bashing', although I did wonder whether men would find it funny or get it. I thought it was well-casted - the actors are all likeable and some were particularly funny. As a mum I give it thumbs up. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.224.182.83) | 20 Mar 03 | |

| I am not a 30 something mum and so have no affinity with this play whatsoever. I thought the anecdotes were cloying and apart from Cathy Tyson's "sleep deprivation" bit not very moving. The ending is pure American candy covered sentimentality. BUT the audience of largely 30 something mothers loved it. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (80.193.222.20) | 19 Mar 03 |
