| This is the best thing Ninagawa has done since Macbeth over 20 years ago, one of the best ever uses of the Barbican stage, and one of the greatest interpretations of this Shakespeare play. The staging, design and performances are all stunning. I can't speak a word of Japanese, but this play has never been clearer! The only puzzle is why the audience weren't on their feet cheering a very welcome visit from this theatrical genius and his wonderful company. - Gareth James | 28 Apr 07 | |
| You've got just 2 days to see this superb rendition of Shakespeare's late tragedy by the Ninagawa company. Beautifully staged and costumed, moving and dramatic, it's one of the best Shakespeare productions I've ever seen. - Backdrifter | 27 Apr 07 |
