| Saw it in Leeds and thought it was wonderful - a superb battlecry for the power of the arts, very effectively produced with a magnificent cast, particularly Dominic Thorburn; Ian Redford who is amazing in several roles, and Ciaran Owens who plays the two most completely opposite roles imaginable and completely convinces in both, to the extent that it's quite difficult to comprehend that it's the same actor. Marvellous work from all concerned. - Tim Munro | 19 Nov 12 | |
| So many themes on a period of our history we can hardly be proud of. The in jokes of the theatre as good as Shakespeare's in " Hamlet " . Must see it again in Leeds. Max Stafford Clarke is my hero. - Peter Holling | 19 Sep 12 | |
| I loved the production, really emotional and beautifully acted. Read my own review here... http://browneyedgirlmac.wordpress.com/2012/09/11/review-our-countrys-good/ - Chloe | 12 Sep 12 |
